These come in two basic types: oatmeal or almond base, and coffee or sea salt base. The coffee/sea salt will likely be too abrasive for sensitive skin.

The oatmeal or almond base cleansers gently exfoliate your skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth. To use, clean your face of any makeup or product. Splash your face with comfortably warm water to dampen your skin. Place 1 to 2 teaspoons of cleansing grains in the palm of your hand and mix with warm water to form a paste. Gently apply and rub over the skin on your face and throat. Rinse well with warm water and follow with a moisturizer. Cleansing grains can also be used as a face mask by leaving the mixture on your skin for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing off.

Coffee or Sea Salt scrub polishes skin as it cleanses, leaving behind a light silky feel. Use this delightful scrub once every week or two for moother, silkier skin. Sea salt is drying, so those with dry skin may want to opt for coffee. For best results, apply the scrub to skin dampened by a shower or bath. Scoop out a small amount and rub over dry spots in need of exfoliation. Rinse well with warm running water. Be careful if using in the shower or tub, as the oil might make the floor a little slippery.
